In this survey paper, the author brings the reader established theory, old and very new, of coding theory, on one hand mathematical theory, and on the other applications. The paper has the following sections, thereby giving an idea what it is all about. As such we have: Introduction, the aim of coding theory; Hamming space; Perfect codes and number theory; Lower bounds and algebraic curves; Upper bounds and linear optimizations, Duality, lattices and invariant theory; Representations theory and automorphisms of codes; Lower density parity check codes and graph heory; Codes and the projective plane of order 10; Final Remarks. The paper, written in German, gives a very good impression of the stages of the development in coding theory from its beginning Shannon 1948) up to now; it should English speaking readers supply not difficulties in order to understand it.
