The author deals with a scalar model function that can be used to study various notions of non-autonomous bifurcation explicitly. In a special case, the model class can be transformed into the non-autonomous Beverton-Holt equation. The author uses these model functions for study various notions of non-autonomous transcritical and pitchfork bifurcation.
