The goal of the authors is to establish the existence of unstable manifolds of uniform size for a certain subset of any singular-hyperbolic transitive attractor in a three-manifold. This set is visited infinitely many times by a residual set of the whole attractor, and hence it is enough to derive several dynamical properties of them.
