Following previous works by Butzer, Wagner, Onneweer, the author studies integration and differentiation of fractional order in the framework of the Fourier-Walsh analysis. For Lebesgue integrable functions on the half-line, a modified strong dyadic integral and a derivative of order \(\alpha >0\) are introduced. Interrelation and other basic properties of these operators are studied.
