The author first notices the definition of hypergeometric series \({}_{m+1}F_{m} \) in terms of an integral. By defining a generalization of this integral, he derives an identity between two integrals with arguments \(z \) and \(-z/(1-z)\). And as a corollary of this result, he finds a connection formula between the hypergeometric series \({}_{m+1}F_{m} \) with arguments \(z \) and \(-z/(1-z)\).
