Conditions for the convergence of trigonometric double Fourier series of \(2\pi\)-periodic functions of several variables are established for functions belonging to symmetric spaces (in the sense of Krein-Petunin-Semenov). The latter include \(L^p\) spaces, Marcinkiewicz spaces and some others.
