For the interpolation of functions, it is highly relevant to know the norm of the interpolation operator. In this paper, the norm of the Lagrange interpolation operator is estimated for the multidimensional case. Using this estimate, the author is able to establish convergence of the interpolation and the rate of convergence is considered.
