In order to study automorphic \(L\)-functions, \textit{J. Sturm} introduced the notion of \(C^\infty\)-automorphic forms of bounded growth in [Duke Math. J. 48, 327--350 (1981; Zbl 0483.10026)]. In the present paper a sufficient condition is given for non-holomorphic Eisenstein series to be of bounded growth.
