A modified Newton-Lavrentiev regularization for nonlinear ill-posed Hammerstein-type operator equations (Q2483209)

For the ill-posed operator equation \(AF(x)=y^{\delta}\) \((\| y^{\delta}-y\| \leq \delta)\) with a positive self-adjoint operator \(A: H \to H\) \(({\overline{R(A)}} \neq R(A))\) and a smooth regular operator \(F: H \to H\), the authors introduce and study the iterative process \[ x_{n,\alpha}^{\delta}=x_{n-1,\alpha}^{\delta}-F^{\prime}(x_0)^{-1}[F(x_{n-1,\alpha}^{\delta})- F(x_0)-(A+\alpha I)^{-1}(y^{\delta}-A F(x_0))] \] with \(x_{0,\alpha}^{\delta}=x_0\).
