The authors consider spaces of periodic, continuous functions having fractional order derivatives. Lower and upper estimates for the Kolmogorov relative widths of such spaces are provided. The main tools used in the proofs are Kolmogorov type inequalities for fractional derivatives, and the Jackson operators.
