The authors consider a delayed periodic differential equation, which describes a ``dynamic disease'' involving respiratory disorders. Using the theory of coincidence degree, the existence of a positive periodic solution is shown for this model. Several sufficient conditions are established for checking the global attractivity of this periodic solution.
