In the first part of the paper the author gives a survey of the main properties of quasi-representations, pseudo-representations and pure pseudo-representations. In the second part he proves the main Theorem: all irreducible unitary representations of the discrete series of simple Hermitian-symmetric Lie groups can be continuously deformed in the class of pure unitary pseudo-representations (note that these representations cannot be continuously deformed in the class of unitary representations).
