Electromagnetic full particle code with adaptive mesh refinement technique: application to the current sheet evolution (Q2489676)

A new two and a half dimensional particle code with adaptive mesh refinement technique in an effort to give a self-consistent description of the dynamic change of the plasma sheet is treated. The authors use the complete set of Maxwell equations and solve them by the method of time-discretization. For the integration of the equations of motion they use the same approach.
