The conference took place in the International Home of Scientists ``F. Joliot-Curie'', St. Constantine and Helena, Bulgaria. The Scientific Committee which led the Conference consisted of W. Benz, P. Ceccherini, G. Ganchev, H. Havlicek, H. Karzel, A. Kreuzer, H.-J. Kroll, Ch. Lozanov, M. Marchi, S. Marchiafava, O. Mushkarov, U. Simon, N. Stephanidis, G. Stanilov (Chairman), H. Wefelscheid, H. Zeitler, G. Zlatanov. A laudation in honour of Johannes Böhm was given by Heinrich Wefelscheid. The paper contains abstracts of talks presented in the conference.
