The paper deals with the characterization of optimally stable bases of finite-dimensional spaces of univariate continuous functions. Precisely, some results of a previous paper of the author are reformulated with all the necessary hypotheses and a new result concerning bases of weak Chebyshev spaces formed by ``interval supported'' continuous functions is proved.
