Some variations of the results of \textit{C. Park} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 132, No. 6, 1739--1745 (2004; Zbl 1055.47032)] on the stability of \(*\)-homomorphisms between \(C^*\)-algebras, associated to the Cauchy equation, are explored in the paper under review by using the direct method. The paper includes some interesting examples, as well.
