Starting from the existence of genuine unsheared triads, the authors deal with finding unsheared tetrads, particularly unsheared genuine tetrads. The problem is reduced to an eigenvalue problem, i.e. to tetrads of material line elements, no three of which are coplanar. It is shown that there is an infinite number of unsheared tetrads, but none of them is genuine. The approach can be easily extended to \(n\)-dimensional case.
