In this paper, the authors characterize the set of fixed points for a class of holomorphic maps on complex manifolds with a prescribed homology by using the Lefschetz number and the action of maps on the first homology group (the main theorem 3.1). This result can be applied in any dimension and does not require manifolds to be open and bounded. So we know that it is an extension of the results of Milnor and Earle-Hamilton.
