The authors study the Sturm-Liouville differential operator \(ly:=-y''+q(x)y\) on the finite interval \((0,1)\) with a singular potential \(q\in W_2^{s-1}\), \(s\in[0,1]\). The main result of the paper is the asymptotics of the eigenvalues for such operators with Dirichlet and Neumann-Dirichlet boundary conditions.
