Conditioning and convergence of a quadrature process (Q2504978)

The paper is concerned with the conditioning of some classes of quadrature formulas. In this respect, the authors give estimations for the asymptotic behaviour of the absolute condition number for Newton-Cotes, as well as for compound interpolatory quadrature rules. Some connections between the absolute condition number and convergence of the quadrature rules are also considered.
