In the framework of discontinuous Galerkin method a method called local discontinuous Galer\-kin method is applied to a nonlinear diffusion problem and a nonlinear Stokes problem. Here the fluxes satisfy some weak matching conditions on the interelement boundaries, and the referee expects some similarities with mortar elements.
