The authors investigate strict stability of differential equations with impulsive effect of the form \[ dx/dt=f(t,x) \text \;{ for } \;t>t_0, t\neq \tau_k, \text{ and } \;x(\tau_k)-x(\tau_k^-)=I_k(x(\tau_k^-)). \] By using a Lyapunov function, the authors get criteria for strict stability of the zero solution of this system, and they show that impulses do contribute to the system's strict stability behavior. An example is also given to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained results.
