Population growth and technological change in a global warming model (Q2509148)

The paper contributes to the studies of the global warming and its consequences by presentation and analysis of their mathematical model. The model is represented by a benchmark dynamic game, and it allows for population growth and, after some generalization, also for changes in technology. Namely, the benchmark ''Business as Usual'' equilibrium is analyzed and contrasted with the efficient solution. Further attention is paid to a complete characterization of the entire subgame perfect equilibrium value in the benchmark model.
