Weight two blocks of Iwahori-Hecke algebras of type \(B\). (Q2509250)

One of the central problems in the study of algebras such as the Iwahori-Hecke algebra and the Ariki-Koike algebra is the determination of the decomposition numbers, i.e., the composition multiplicities of the simple modules in the Specht modules. Richards determined the decomposition numbers for blocks of weight 2 in the Iwahori-Hecke algebras of type \(A\). In this paper the same task is undertaken for weight two blocks of Iwahori-Hecke algebras of type \(B\), using the author's own definition of the weight of a bipartition.
