In the paper, multifunctions with values in the space \(CB(X)\) (the family of all nonempty closed and bounded subsets of a complete metric space \(X\)), satisfying the Suzuki type contraction, are considered. Under some additional assumptions, it is proved that such a multifunction has a fixed point. In the proof, the basic ideas presented by \textit{S. B. Nadler jun.}\ in [Pac. J. Math. 30, 475--488 (1969; Zbl 0187.45002)] are utilized. The authors' results improve some existing ones (including the result of Nadler).
