On a norm and approximate characteristics of classes of multivariable functions (Q2519272)

Asymptotic characteristics of classes of multivariable functions are considered, namely, \(\varepsilon\)-entropy and Kolmogorov widths. The authors introduce a space of quasicontinuous functions and study its approximate characteristics \(\varepsilon\)-entropy and width. They establish inequalities for norms of trigonometric polynomials in this space. In addition exponents of the \(\varepsilon\)-entropy and widths for some classes of functions with low smoothness are obtained.
