A general local parametrization for the solution of the implicit equation \(f(x,y,z)=0\) that is valid in the critical case, too, is introduced by means of Hamiltonian systems. Some previous results from the literature are extended and the advantages of the new method are illustrated through examples. Worth mentioning is also the nice overview on the literature on the matter from the introductory section.
