The author suggests further generalization of a concept of topological entropy. He establishes a definition of entropy for a distribution on a compact Riemannian manifold. Then he proves: (1) The entropy of a distribution of a contact structure of a manifold \(M\) is zero. (2) The entropy of an involutive distribution \(D\) is equal to the geometric entropy of a foliation.
