The paper is devoted to the analysis of a fourth-order parabolic equation representing a generalized viscous Cahn-Hilliard equation. This model includes as special cases the viscous Cahn-Hilliard equation and the Cahn-Hilliard equation. Existence, continuous dependence and regularity results are presented.
