Weakly nonlinear interaction of two waves in radiative gasdynamics (Q2568749)

This paper studies the weakly nonlinear interaction of two waves for the one-dimensional flow of an inviscid radiative gas within the so-called equilibrium diffusion approximation (a further simplification of the Eddington approximation). Applying the perturbation analysis developed by \textit{Y. He} and \textit{T. B. Moodie} [Stud. Appl. Math. 88, 241-269 (1993; Zbl 0797.35115)], the authors give an explicit asymptotic solution. Moreover, the two wave interactions are graphically shown.
