Given an algebra \(A\) over a field \(F\) and a subset \(M\) of the vector space of linear endomorphisms of \(A\), the authors consider the evaluation algebra \(A^M\), which is the algebra formally spanned by elements \(af\), \(a\in A\), \(f\in M\), with natural addition, and with multiplication given by \((af)*(bg)=(af(b))g\). Some properties and examples of these algebras are given.
