Based on a fundamental remark by \textit{G. Fichera} [Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo 41, No. 1, 5--28 (1992; Zbl 0756.35035)] and on a result obtained by W. A. Day, it is proved here that heath propagates apparently as a wave.
