To help understand some forms of generalized continuity the authors require that the range space has a minimal structure (a subfamily of the power set containing the empty set and whole space) in place of a topology. This leads to notions of \((\tau,m)\)-continuity and weak \((\tau,m)\)-continuity. Following a study of these notions they are then related to known generalizations of continuity.
