A method for design of state feedback controllers for uncertain 2-D Fornasini-Marchesini models such that the closed-loop system is stable and a prescribed \(H_\infty\) performance level is ensured for all admissible uncertainties. Sufficient conditions for the existence of solution to the problem are established. The desired controller can be obtained by solving a certain linear matrix inequality. The proposed method is illustrated by numerical example.
