This paper presents four-state and eight-state space-time minimum shift keying (MSK) trellis codes with full-rate and full-diversity. Codes with two and three transmit antennas are proposed for small and large diversity orders and simulated on a quasi-static Rayleigh fading channel when the numbers of received antennas are one and four. Simulation results indicate that the new codes provide significant gains over the conventional MSK of the same information rate and exhibit better performance as the number of states and/or the number of transmit-receive antennas increases.
