Mat. pura appl., Bologna, (4) 17 (1938), 256-287 (JFM 64.1177.*), und zwar S. 285) von ihm abgeleitete Verallgemeinerung der Hankeltransformation: \[ \int\limits_0^\infty J_n(sx)J_n(sy)sds\int\limits_0^\infty J_0(s\sigma)f(\sigma)\sigma\,d\sigma =\frac 1{2\pi}\int\limits_0^{2\pi}f(\sqrt{x^2+y^2-2xy\cos \theta})\cos n\theta\,d\theta, \] worin \(J_n\) (für \(n = 0\), 1, 2, \dots) die \(n\)-te Besselsche Funktion bedeutet, um eine Reihe bekannter Integralformeln für Zylinderfunktionen daraus zu entwickeln.
