The rings studied by \textit{W. K. Nicholson, J. F. Watters} and \textit{M. F. Yousif} [in Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 102, No. 3, 443-450 (1988; Zbl 0657.16015) and J. Algebra 187, No. 2, 548-578 (1997; Zbl 0879.16002)] are characterized by minimal left ideals. In this paper, the author studies rings with every minimal left ideal being projective, a direct summand and a p-injective module, respectively. Characterizations of these rings are given and relations among these rings are obtained.
