Beweis des Satzes: Sind \(F_1\),\dots, \(F_r\) Differentialpolynome mit beliebig vielen abhängigen Variablen und mit meromorphen Koeffizienten, und hat das System \(F_1= 0\),\dots, \(F_r = 0\) keine Lösung, so kann man die Einheit als Linearkombination der \(F_\nu\) und ihrer Derivierten darstellen, wobei die Koeffizienten ebenfalls Differential\-polynome sind.
