The authors approached an article published earlier, namely Spin-polarized transport: existence of weak solutions, published in the same Journal, by same authors. In both papers the authors studied a model for spin polarized transport, and proved the existence of weak solutions. But in the previous paper, in the proof, a term was omitted, and as a result, the proof presented is only valid for currents that are normal to the boundary and this situation does not conform to reality. In the present paper, the authors extend the result to more general currents.
