Verf. beweist den Satz von \textit{Scott} (vgl. die vorstehend besprochene Arbeit) mit Hilfe von Kettenbrüchen und zeigt darüber hinaus noch folgendes: Läßt man eine beliebige der drei Scottschen Klassen weg, so gibt es in den anderen beiden unendlich viele Zahlenpaare \(p\), \(q\) derart, daß \(\left|\omega-\dfrac pq\right| < \dfrac 1{2q^2}\) gilt.
