The authors investigate the lemniscates of rational maps. The starting point is a question posed by Y. Younsi concerning in capacities of components of the limniscate of a good rational function. Earlier works of Dubinin, Solynin, Ehenfelt, Khavinson and Shapiro (among others) are mentioned. The reflection principle for harmonic measures is proved as well as a version of Schwarz's lemma for the capacity of the lemniscates of proper holomorphic functions.
