Verf. weist auf den \textit{Traité Elémentaire de Méchanique et de Physique}, Paris 1700 (ohne Namen, aber mit signiertem Vorwort) hin, aus dem kleinere Abteilungen im Journal des Sçavans 1699-1701 unter dem Signum \(M^*\) oder \textit{DLARDS} erschienen. Daran schließt sich eine Lebensskizze, nach der \textit{Parent} 1726 starb (sonst 1716; was richtig ist, kann Ref. augenblicklich nicht nachprüfen).
