Verf. beweist, daß das \(x\)-te Glied in der binomischen Verteilung \((q + p)^n\) sich in der Form \[ f(x)=(-1)^n\cdot \frac{q^nn!}{\pi }\biggl(\frac{p}{q}\biggr)^x\cdot \frac{\sin\, \pi x}{x^{(n+1)}}\;\;\text{mit}\;\;x^{(n+1)}=x(x-1)\cdots (x-n) \] schreiben läßt, und gibt Formeln für die Ausgleichung einer beobachteten Häufigkeitsverteilung mittels \(f(x)\) an.
