\(f(x)\) sei eine im \textit{Lebesgue}schen Sinn integrierbare Funktion mit der Periode \(2\pi\), und \(\frac 12 a_0 + \sum\limits_1^\infty (a_n \cos nx + b_n \sin nx)\) sei die zugeordnete \textit{Fourier}reihe. \[ \sum_1^\infty n(a_n \cos nx + b_n \sin nx) \tag{1} \] wird die konjugierte Reihe der abgeleiteten \textit{Fourier}reihe genannt. Für die Konvergenz und die \textit{Cesarò}sche Summierbarkeit von (1) wird bewiesen: Die Reihe (1) konvergiert zum Werte \[ - \frac 1\pi\int\limits_0^\pi \frac{\varPhi(t)}{4\sin^2\frac t2}\,dt \quad \text{mit} \quad \varPhi(t) = f(x+t) + f(x-t) - 2f(x) \] in jedem Punkte, in dem dieses Integral existiert, vorausgesetzt daß \(\dfrac{\varPhi(t)}t\) in \((0, \pi)\) stetig und von beschränkter Schwankung ist sowie \(\varPhi(t) = o(t)\) für \(t\to 0\) gilt (beim Beweise wird die absolute Stetigkeit von \(\varPhi(t)\) in \((0,\pi)\) gebraucht). Die Reihe (1) ist \((C,k)\)-summierbar für \(k > 2\) zum Wert \[ g(x)= \lim_{\delta \to 0}\left(-\frac 1\pi\int\limits_\delta^\infty \frac{\varPhi(t)}{t^2}\,dt\right) \] in jedem Punkt, in dem dieses Integral als \textit{Cauchy}sches Integral existiert. Dieselbe Aussage gilt für \(k > 1\) bzw. \(k > 0\) unter der Zusatzvoraussetzung, daß \(\varPhi(t) = O(t)\) bzw. \(\dfrac{\varPhi(t)}t\) in \((0, 2\pi)\) von beschränkter Schwankung ist.
