Gemeint ist der 12. November 1733; mit diesem Datum ist eine von \textit{Karl Pearson} aufgefundene Abhandlung \textit{de Moivre}s über die binomische Reihe versehen. Es werden die Sätze mitgeteilt, in denen \textit{de Moivre} über seine -wahrscheinlich auf 1721 anzusetzende -- Entdeckung des Mittelgliedes der Reihe \((1 + 1)^n\) bei sehr großem \(n\) berichtet.
