The paper is focused on estimating the infinity norm of the inverses of Nekrasov matrices. New bounds with a parameter are given, the optimal values of the parameter are determined in order that the new bounds are better than those obtained by \textit{L. Cvetković} et al. [Appl. Math. Comput. 219, No. 10, 5020--5024 (2013; Zbl 1283.15014)]. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the results obtained.
