Joint review for Zbl 0114.24404 and Zbl 0114.24405. The author gives a formal metamathematical introduction of the notions related to the subjunctive conditionals, i.e. statements of type ``if triangles were squares, then triangles would have four sides''. The paper contains a great number (60) of definitions. Beside enumerating these definitions (among which there are many complicated ones) there are stated six theorems, being immediate consequences of the concepts defined. The second paper gives a list of the misprints of the first one.
