The authors study ordinary linear differential reaction equations with three species: \(A\leftrightarrow B\rightarrow C\). Initial data are either ``only \(A\) present'' or ``only \(B\) present''. Special facts like maxima, intersection of trajectories, and their coincidences are studied from the point of view of existence. Domains of existence are discussed.
