The author of the paper under review shows that the calculation of the heat invariants can be computerized. The first three invariants are evaluated on the base of the geometric symbol calculus for pseudodifferential operators developed by \textit{P. B. Gilkey} [Invariance theory, the heat equation, and the Atiyah-Singer index theorem. Wilmington, Delaware: Publish or Perish, Inc. (1984; Zbl 0565.58035)].
