The paper deals with the mathematical model of the reaction and the transport process in a drop of water solution of two substances on a hot substrate. Water is evaporated and leaves the drop, so the equations describe the motion of a liquid-gas mixture with sinks of liquid due to the chemical reaction. The equations are of Navier-Stokes type with no-slip, no-flux, and constant-temperature boundary conditions on the substrate, symmetry axis, no-pressure condition at a distance of ten sizes of the droplet from the axis. Due to the symmetry only two spatial variables are used. Numerical studies reveal some details of the process.
